Millennial Speed Dating
Want to get off your dating apps and meet someone in real life, but where you don’t have to find out that every cute person at the party is unavailable? Do you think that IRL speed dating is generally awkward and weird? So do we. That’s why we’re putting a Skip the Small Talk twist on dating.
We'll be offering "big talk" conversation prompts to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we'll have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you ground rules to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in complete control of how much you share.
There will be food and alcoholic as well as nonalcoholic drinks for sale!
Check-in for this event will begin around 6:45 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 7:00 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible. Please note that there is an arrival cutoff, meaning that if you are not in line to check in before 7:10 pm, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate and we will not be able to offer refunds.

Join us for a fall afternoon filled with local vendors, live music, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of fun for you and your pup. Browse a curated collection of dog-focused businesses featuring handmade treats, apparel, pet portraits, candles, accessories, and more!
We'll also be joined by local nonprofits and community partners, including Great Dog Rescue New England (with adoptable dogs!), educational resources, and pet care professionals.

Join us at Park-9 Dog Bar for Puppy Yoga! Starting at 9:45am yoga instructors will lead you through a 45 minute yoga class, accompanied by adoptable puppies from Great Dog Rescue New England.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales directly benefit the rescue as they continue their life saving work. Be sure to stick around after after the class for a breakfast pizza, a brunch cocktail, and to spend extra time with the pups at the adoption event with the rescue!

Books & Brews Book Swap
Join us at Park-9 for a BARKS, Books & Brews book swap!
Bring one (or a few!) gently loved books to trade with fellow readers while enjoying craft drinks, great food, and plenty of dog-friendly fun. We'll also have the amazing All She Wrote Books on site with a curated selection of books available to shop.
Bringing your pup? We'd love to have them join the fun! Just be sure they're registered with Park-9 before the event through our website.
Here's how the swap works:
Bring a book or books (up to 10 per person) that are ready for a new home. Please consider bringing books that you have enjoyed rather than unwanted items. We cannot accept books that are damaged (water-logged, written in etc.).
Check in with the host(s) and give us your book(s) to put on the swap tables.
Browse the books and grab up to four new (to you) books to take home.
Come in and out of the swap as much as you'd like. Don't forget to grab food/drink and mingle with other bookies!
Take a chance and purchase a Blind Date With a Book to add to your swap pile.
Any remaining books at the end of the swap will be donated to the Prison Book Program.

Millennial Speed Dating
Want to get off your dating apps and meet someone in real life, but where you don’t have to find out that every cute person at the party is unavailable? Do you think that IRL speed dating is generally awkward and weird? So do we. That’s why we’re putting a Skip the Small Talk twist on dating.
We'll be offering "big talk" conversation prompts to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we'll have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you ground rules to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in complete control of how much you share.
There will be food and alcoholic as well as nonalcoholic drinks for sale!
Check-in for this event will begin around 6:45 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 7:00 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible. Please note that there is an arrival cutoff, meaning that if you are not in line to check in before 7:10 pm, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate and we will not be able to offer refunds.

Geeks Who Drink will host Small Batch Trivia every Thursday! Get here early to check-in and play from anywhere in our venue, including the off-leash park. Trivia is free to play and the first and second place winning teams will receive a prize!
Dogs make great mascots, but are not needed to play. See you there!
Small Dog Mondays
Every Monday is for small dogs at Park-9! This weekly meetup is just for our tiny pups to run, play, and socialize in a space made with them in mind. It’s the perfect way to kick off the week for dogs who prefer a smaller crowd and a comfortable pace.
Our back pen will be reserved as a designated play space specifically for small dogs throughout the night.
Please note, the small dog area will not be monitored by a park ranger and all play must be self-monitored by pet parents.
All breeds that meet our entry requirements are always welcome.
