Join us at Park-9 Dog Bar for our first-ever Puppy Yoga class! Starting at 10am, co-owner of The Point East Boston Barre & Yoga Jessica, will lead you through a 45 minute yoga class, accompanied by adoptable puppies from Sweet Paws Rescue.

Partial proceeds from ticket sales go to Sweet Paws Rescue to continue their life saving work. Join us after the class for a drink and an adoption event with the rescue, including the puppies from class!

Please note dogs outside of the adoptable pups from Sweet Paws, dogs are not able to attend the class.

Herd up your friends and your pups for the Shepherd breed meetup on April 17th. All shepherd breeds are encouraged, in addition to all other dogs and humans!

Celebrate Marathon Monday here at Park-9 with special hours! Daycare will be closed and the park and bar will be open from 12pm-7pm.

On Saturday, April 13th, Park-9 is rolling out the red carpet (literally) for its One Year Anniversary Giveback Gala. From 7:30pm to 11pm, don your best formal cocktail attire for an evening supporting Park-9’s charity partners over the last year: Sweet Paws Rescue, Street Dog Coalition, and NEADS.

Enjoy a complimentary menu from Big Pig BBQ including dishes like sliders, mac & cheese, chopped-to-order brisket elote, and more, a champagne toast (additional drinks available for purchase), live music from Joe Sax, and a silent auction featuring items like free treats for a year from Polkadog Bakery and Boston Celtics memorabilia. $10 from each ticket will directly benefit NEADS, which provides life-changing partnerships by training and matching service dogs with those in need.

Park-9's new puppy seminar will provide the advice needed to set you and your puppy up for success! This one time 45- minute class is most helpful for first time dog parents or people looking for refresher tips and tricks to train their puppy.

Our lead trainer will cover the following topics: behavioral management (kenneling, confinement, using a leash, etc.), potty training, toys (good and bad), socialization and exposure, snout to tail assessments, how to make sure your pup can be handled by everyone, as well as vaccines and why they are important. Q&A will be offered following the presentation.

Please bring something to take notes with for optimal success. You are welcome to bring your puppy with you to enjoy puppy socialization time after class, but it is not required (no entry fee required); expecting puppy parents are also welcome. We’ll continue our weekend festivities with an Irish-specific breed meetup on Sunday morning, March 17th starting at 11am. From setters to wolfhounds, Park-9 welcomes all Irish breeds, and even those just Irish at heart!
