Lab Meetup + Dogs for better lives fundraiser
Head to Park-9 on Wednesday, September 17th, for our next breed meetup - Labradors! Get your energetic friends ready for an evening of fun in our off-leash park!
We will also be joined by Dogs for Better Lives - the oldest provider of Hearing Assistance Dogs in the U.S. Dogs for Better Lives’ mission is to professionally train dogs (mostly Labs!) to help people and enhance lives while maintaining a lifelong commitment to all dogs rescued or bred and the people they serve. Dogs for Better Lives is Park-9’s Fall Cocktail for a Cause recipient, so $1 from every special cocktail sold will be donated to the organization and matched up to $1,500.
Plus, all Lab owners will receive 15% off orders at Lala’s Pizza. AND Lala’s will be donating 10% of the evening proceeds to Dogs for Better Lives!

Barktoberfest
Grab your dog and a Park-9 beer stein and join us for our Third Annual Barktoberfest on Saturday, September 27th. The only Oktoberfest celebration that you and your pup can BOTH enjoy!
Test your strength in our stein holding and dog holding contests. Pups can show off their skills in our treat holding contest! Contests start at 3pm and are free to enter, with prizes like treats, gift cards, and even an annual park membership!
We’ll be pouring Oktoberfest and Pumpkin beers, plus giving away mini Park-9 steins (while supplies last). Enjoy tasty food specials, an ice cream sandwich cart, free popcorn, and classic pretzel necklaces!

Join us at Park-9 Dog Bar for Puppy Yoga! Starting at 9:45am yoga instructors will lead you through a 45 minute yoga class, accompanied by adoptable puppies from Sweet Paws Rescue.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales directly benefit the rescue as they continue their life saving work. Be sure to stick around after after the class for a breakfast pizza, a brunch cocktail, and to spend extra time with the pups at the adoption event with the rescue!

Halloween Party
Join us for Park-9 Everett’s Third Annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 25th! The day kicks off with family-friendly fun from 2–5pm, including crafts, face painting, a Polkadog treat bar, and fall favorites like cider donuts. Then from 5–10pm, the real party begins with live music, Halloween cocktail specials, spooky Addams Family–themed décor, and our grand costume contest.

“PUPPIES IN THE OUTFIELD” ADOPTION EVENT IN SUPPORT OF SWEET PAWS RESCUE
On Saturday, September 13th, head to The Station in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood to watch two teams of adoptable puppies compete in their own version of America’s favorite pastime from 1pm to 4pm*! Meet and play with the puppy all-stars in the off-leash park (donations suggested to enter), listen to live music, get gameday ready with a free puppy manicure from Woofie’s Pet Grooming, embroider your pup’s name on a branded bandana from The Farmer’s Dog, and more!
*Our off leash park will be closed to visiting dogs from 1pm-3pm to allow the puppies to play. All on leash dogs visiting before 3pm will receive free entry.
For 14 years, Sweet Paws Rescue has been a beacon of hope for unwanted, neglected, and victimized animals in the New England area and beyond. SPR’s reach and scope of service have grown over the years, but its aging facilities have struggled to keep pace. As a result, SPR has recently embarked on a fundraising journey, aiming to raise millions to purchase a new property to fit its growing needs. Moving to the animal sanctuary will enable SPR to help even more animals, provide veterinary care and training services, much needed off-leash space for rescued animals, and more.
All donations and a portion of proceeds from this event will go to Sweet Paws Rescue. Donations are suggested to enter the off-leash area to play with the adoptable pups. $1 from every Pup-loma cocktail and Castle Island Brewing x Park-9 Dog Bar collab beer, South Paws, purchased will go towards SPR.

End of PAWSitive Pantry Food Drive
Park-9 will be accepting donations on behalf of PAWSitive Pantry for the entire month of August!
PAWSitive Pantry will accept all open and expired (within 3 months) cat and dog food. Most needed: Dry and Wet Cat food and Wet Dog Food.
Donations can be dropped off at the front desk of Park-9 Everett, as well as the daycare reception area.
PAWSitive Pantry, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 2009 to provide a safety net to help pets whose families have fallen on hard times.
